St. Christopher's Multi-Academy Trust
Vision
St Christopher’s Multi -Academy Trust was established 2013 by the Diocese of Exeter. Since then it has become a Trust in its own right, continuing to have a strongly Anglican foundation.
Our core purpose is to enable flourishing communities. In this endeavour we hold fast to the Church of England’s Vision for Education

We want our schools, every pupil and member of staff to experience “life in all its fullness.” Whilst this is a Bible verse from John’s gospel 10:10, we are not an organisation for church schools alone. In the same way as any Church of England headteacher will say, “we are first and foremost a community school with a Church of England foundation,” we as a Trust are community and church schools who share a desire to operate within a principled approach to education.
All our schools, whilst having their own unique qualities, operate interdependently. We recognise that in working together, openly acknowledging one another’s gifts and talents, we are stronger.
Every child is welcome, every family, regardless of circumstance. We will do our best to meet individual aspirations and overcome barriers to learning.
Our Trust’s principles resonate with the closing statement of the Education Foundations Vision, “parents who send their child to a school formed around this vision will not be disappointed as they discover an education that embraces excellence and academic rigour within the wider framework of spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, moral and social development and enables their children to flourish.”
