School Council- 'Pupil Voice'
We understand and appreciate the value of our pupil voice. Our pupils are actively encouraged to participate in the decision making process and have an influence over the provision for all learners.
Our school council is led by Charlotte and Leo
Each class has 2 reps who are nominated by their class mates:
Y2: Abigail and Lawson
Y3: Neve and Harrison
Y4: Olivia and Zachary
Y5: Erin and Cody
Y6: Charlotte and Leo
This year we have decided:
- to continue to work with the PTFA to develop the Reflective garden
- to purchase equipment for use on the playground
- to support Children In Need
We will be holding a fundraising day each term to raise money for our chosen charities. The fundraising activities we have chosen are:
- Crazy Pudsey Hair Day ~ November 2019
- Cake Sale ~ Spring term
- St Ed's Got Talent ~ Summer Term
Dear parents/carers
We would like to inform you about our first fundraiser as School Council. We have decided to support Children in Need next Friday by holding a ‘Pudsey’s Crazy hair Day’.
On Friday 15th November, we would like the children to come to school with crazy Pudsy-themed hair. To participate in this event, you will have to pay a donation of £1.00.
This £1.00 will support both our school and Children in Need. This contribution is being split equally between our focus for the year
(playground equipment) and Children in Need.
Many thanks for all your support with this event, we look forward to seeing crazy hairstyles!
