Welcome to St Edward's C of E Nursery

Still image for this video

Our onsite school-based nursery opened in September 2020 which has allowed our incredible school family to grow.  This welcome addition works really closely with our existing Foundation class which is a fantastic formula.

Our provision is for children from three years old. Children can join us following their third birthday.  Parents can access up to 15 or 30 hours of government funded sessions in the term following their third birthday.

We are opened Monday to Friday between 8:30am-3.30pm and operate during the term time only.  Sessions are in blocks and are charged at £4 per hour. Children are offered a fruit snack during the day. Lunches can either be packed or a hot meal and these can be purchased through our school money system

If you are interested in your child joining our setting, please do not hesitate to contact us. Alternatively, please contact our office and complete the application form. Applications can be sent to our email address edw.office@stcmat.org

With current restrictions we will be filming virtual tours and keeping you updated with government guidance.  We look forward to meeting you

What our parents say...

“We are so impressed with St Edwards Nursery - an environment full of learning, encouragement,

joy and positivity which our son has absolutely flourished in. He couldn't have asked for a better

start to his education and we feel so relieved knowing our daughter will be getting the same

experience when she begins!"

“I just want to say what a breath of fresh air this nursery is. The facilities and space that you have

are the reason why my child has thrived here. Every child matters and my daughters needs have

been met, effortlessly. If I could do this year over again so my daughter could stay longer,

I would. She’s more than ready for school and that’s all thanks to you guys. We will miss you all

very much.”

“I would like to say a massive “thank you” to my daughters wonderful and amazing teachers.

You have all truly made her nursery experience the best. From her joining the nursery when it

very first opened until now she has not had a single day where she would not want to come

and see her lovely friends and teachers!   can’t thank you all enough and I’m so emotional

thinking about her leaving the nursery it’s been a positive experience that she and

I will look back so fondly on.”
